Repair Services

While considering the demand of our customer and to utilize the manufacturing capacity more efficiently, the repair / rehabilition of Power Transformers was included in our diversification programme.

In 1997 HEC commenced repairs of 132KV Power Transformers of various makes including (European, japans, Russian & chines etc.) for Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), Karachi Electric Supply (KESC) and other industrial customer’s e.g.  Cement, sugar, Heavy Engineering and Chemical Industries.

After achieving the success in repair Power Transformers upto 250MVA, 220KV HEC has developed extensive capability to undertake the repair of power transformers for 500KV the highest voltage in the power system of WAPDA of power capacity ranging from 71MNA to 200MVA.

Since 2015 HEC has also started service in erection, testing and commissioning of power transformers at sites.

• Erection / testing / commissioning of 160MVA Auto Transformer at Shahi Bagh 132/220KV Grid.

• Erection / testing / commissioning of 150MVA Auto Transformer at Sheikh Muhammadi 220/500KV Grid.
• Erection / testing / commissioning of 10/13MVA Power Transformer at Flaying Kraft Paper & Steel Mills Charsadda, KPK.
